One thing comes to mind... Trichotillomania

Its an anxiety disorder that causes a person to compulsively pull out their hair. I know you may think its a bit crazy, but the people dont always know theyre doing it. Its common in youngsters too... if the doc gives her a clean bill of health, consider having her see a counselor a few times. Maybe something is bugging her that you are not aware of.

Another possibility is anorexia.. You cant judge by her current weight as thats not always a clear indicator. Overweight or normal weight kids can start anorexic behaviors too. Anorexics will go to great lengths to convince people theyre eating.. when theyre really not. Its possible to have normal bloodwork if she's recently began cutting way down on the food intake.

Those are a couple things to take a look at. If she gets the clean bill of health from the doctor... its time to consider a psychological reason for the hair loss.

it could be hereditary or stress. its started to happen to me around 15 but my mom has those areas nearly with no hair at all. kinda like a widows peak but no so defined. if its too much hair than it could be stress. some adolescents even pull there hair from stress. now im not talking about patches at a time but one by one and over time can look like shes losing her hair.
