Go to your regular doctor, your gyn and an endocrinologist. You need to make sure that its not a side effect from any medication or an indication of an underlying problem or disorder. As many already posted it can be a residual of a hormone imbalance but it can also be an indicator of a metabolic issue.

I would suggest cutting your hair shorter - you will notice less hair around the house and on your clothes. Do not use any rubber bands for ponytails. When brushing your hair use a soft brush. And when brushing your hair that has hairspray or other product in it... dont... wash your hair first to wash out the products so that the brush doesn't just pull through it and rip out more hair. Use thickening shampoos, conditioners, sprays, and creams... these may help give the appearance of thicker hair.

I hope this gets better for you. Good luck and definitely pay a visit to the three doctors.

well dunno

I would talk with my doctor. A 23-year-old female who is losing a lot of hair may be dealing with a hormonal imbalance or other issues; I would tend to agree that it's not normal, certainly. Good luck!

I'm losing a lot of hair, what to do?!?

it could due to stress that leads to hormonal imbalance. see a doctor asap, before you lose all your hairs.

consult a doctor, may be harmon imbalance, vitamin deficiency. stress , and dandreff. So u have to go a doctor and then start your tratment and your hair will be normal.

I would recommend you see a doctor to eliminate other concerns.

Apart from external applications, healthy hair is a lot about what you eat and your lifestyle as well. Drink lots of water, at least 3 types of fruits a day, greens, nuts, get the required amount of sleep and keep your life stress free.

Do get a detailed health check up done to make sure its not a symptom of something that needs attention.

I'm losing a lot of hair, what to do?!?

i have this problem to i have spoke to my hair hairdresser and she advised its either the hair that is stressed or me!your hair could be overcoloured, over styled with straightners etc,the best thing to do is improve your diet eat plenty of fresh fruit veggies and white fish also take supplements for hair and nails use plenty of protector and serum before styling and use a decent proffessional shampoo and conditioner, try this for a couple of months if you dont see any improvement go and see your doctor for a thyroid test good luck

It is easier to prevent the falling out of healthy hairs than to regrow hair in follicles that are already dormant. Finasteride (marketed in the U.S. as Propecia) and minoxidil (marketed in the U.S. as Rogaine, and some places as Regaine) have shown some success in partially reversing loss. In a one one-year study of finasteride, evaluation after one year showed five of 21 subjects (23.8%) had two-grade improvement in MNHS grade on a modified Norwood/Hamilton scale and 12 of 21 subjects (57.1%) had one-grade improvement; the others remained at the same grade.[6] However such treatments are generally ineffective at treating extreme cases of hair loss.[7]
