you really need to talk to your doctor. i would recommend taking the pre-natal vitamins again. you can get them over the counter for something like this, and they will help your hair grow. but i would go to a doctor, probably a dermatologist, and find out if something more serious is going wrong other than post-partum hair loss. it is common for women to lose their hair after having a baby. but with that much loss, something else may be the cause.

There is a condition called Alopecia which is a spotted loss of hair. A lot of reasons might cause this condition, such as stress and medications that you might have been taking. I also have been losing hair and I guess its because of stress and that I've been losing a lot of sleep. I tried using shampoos to stop hair fall and hopefully it's working.But since you've mentioned that it's been a month and a half and so much hair has gone...you might have to visit your dermatologist. Well after you had or before you had your baby when you had sex the person you did it with probably had cancer and that's the only way your hair is falling out either you have cancer or you just don't take care of your hair. I think you should go to a doctor and check your self out!!

I too lost a lot of hair after my baby was born. It was alarming. It has to do with the hormonal changes in your body. I remember being in the shower and crying as it came out in big wads when I shampooed! If it really bothers you, ask your doctor, but rest assured that it will come back. Anytime in my life that my body had a big change or shock (childbirth, surgery, emotional loss) I have shed a lot of hair.

If u r using coconut oil for your hairs means put some "Methi" in that oil and keep.. whenever u r using that oil first just heat the oil and massage it well on your scalps in the night. and in the morning u use DOVE shampoo and wash it well. dont use any hair conditioners.. try to use this oil twice in the week . it will give you the best result.
