This dog could have external parasites like fleas or ticks or even lice that make him itchy, or he could have microscopic parasites like mange mites . If you can see fleas , ticks or lice on him then he needs to be treated for that. If that doesn't stop the itching then you will need to take him to the vet to be checked for mange. ( they will scrape his itchy spots and look at the slide under a microscope for the mites)

Oh my goodness, this dog needs to go to a vet. Once fleas are ruled out your dr. will probably tell you the dog has worms. Has the dog ever been de-wormed? All animals are born with worms and need to be de- wormed. Or of course the dog could just have a skin condition, all is treatable but the dog needs to go to the vet as soon as possible.

My dog had the same thing, it is possibly allergies, and that causes dry skin. That causes the dog to scratch uncontrollably. The vet will give them a steroid, and a cortisone cream, and that should clear it up.

my dog had the same thing. she was allergic to fleas. it is common 1 out of 10 dogs get it. go to the yets and under his recogmendation get a madicated shampoo and wash your dog every day. after about a month depending on how your dog reacts to the shampoo he should be fine.

sounds like fleas or a food allergy type of food has a lot to do with it get a high grade dog food with no corn
