I've already made an appt with the Vet but I was just wondering what i'm gonna be going into and she just had puppies three weeks ago

My hair always fell out after my kids were born (and no, it wasn't until they were a little older that I started pulling it out!)

It had something to do with the hormones changing before during and after pregnancy, also stress; I imagine it is much the same with dogs.

Hopefully it is something simple, she may be rubbing her face against the pups or something too.

try giving her some vitamins. She can have a loss of them because of the birth, But take her to a vet!

my aunties dog lost her fur off the top of her head and even though she has flee stuff on there was 1nice 1 and she was allergic 2 them. that could be a reason or it cud just be new fur coming in.

It sounds like your dog could have demodectic mange. Demodex is caused by a tiny mite-like parasite living on the skin; it's fairly common and easy to treat. If the demodectic mange is mild to moderate, the vet will probably give you some prescription shampoo to use a couple of times a week. The vet may also want to dip your dog in a chemical solution while you're at the clinic - just to boost the recovery process.

My lab had this when he was a puppy. A couple of trips to the vet and a bottle of prescription shampoo took care of the problem within a couple of weeks. You're doing the right thing by making a vet appointment. Your dog should be fine! :-)
