I think its part of a coat change. If not, its diet. Happened to my Pug
I have a 10 month old yorkie, she started losing hair on bottom and hind legs @ 8 months what causes thi?
Yorkies have common changes in hair loss/hair color. My friend got a yorkie when it was just a pup, and she had a normal amount of hair. But when they get older, their hair starts turning gray [depends if you have a black/brown colored dog] and usually it starts shedding and falling out. But this only means their hair is going through changes. Your dog will most likely be back to normal once its 1- 1 1/2 years old.

this could be caused by many thing...is she scratching a lot? She could have mange. The vet would have to do a skin test to see exactly what is wrong. It could also be she may need vitamins. Try giving her puppy vitamins daily to see if she improves.

I have a yorkie and he is about 1 1/2 years old. This has never happened to him. It could be that your dog is allergic to your carpet or even grass. Take him/her to the vet and the vetenarian will likely give your dog an allergy shot and some medicine that you give him orally.

if the skin looks ok--thenI wouldn't worry too much--could be normal for her. If the skin doesn't look ok--you will have to take her to a vet cuz it probably won't go away without medicine

Is any hair growing underneath? If it is your dog is gettin its adult coat. If not go to your vet for food suggestions

She may have the early signs of alopecia...its very common in yorkies. Here is a website that should help you figure out if that's what it is.
